Policies During COVID-19

WE ARE TEMPORARILY CLOSED, BUT HOPE TO OPEN BACK UP SOON.

These guidelines will be updated as needed once we reopen Vision II Theatre.

As with all businesses reopening, things will look a little different. One thing we will continue to stress – seating will be limited due to social distancing. Even though there is not a limit on building capacity, we do have to follow the six feet social distancing guidelines. This takes our actual seating down to approximately 50% of normal seating capacity.

What we are doing

  • Enhanced cleaning – including bathrooms, lobby, concession area and theatre seating – theatres will be completely wiped down and disinfected between each show.

  • All employees will be required to wear masks and gloves and we are requiring frequent hand washing and glove changes.

  • Employee pre-shift wellness check-in, including taking of temperatures.

  • Social distancing guidelines set up in ticket and concession lobby, as well as in theatres.

  • Hand sanitizer stations in lobby.

  • Reduced ticket prices – while we are showing second run films (which is all that is available right now), ticket prices will only be $3 per person all shows!

  • Popcorn to go – we are going to offer this service – pre-orders only – on Friday and Saturday evenings (beginning July 10)! Just send a message through Facebook Messenger with your order (popcorn and candy only). You will get a confirmation and directions on picking up!

  • Showtimes – these are changing slightly. At some point we want to get back to our regular schedule – shows seven days a week - but for now show days/times will be limited. Matinees on Saturday and Sunday and evening shows on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.  Matinees will temporarily change to 1:30 p.m.; evening shows will be at 7:00 p.m. The change in matinee time is to keep all matinees at a consistent time and to allow for our staff to completely clean the entire theatre between matinee and evening shows on Saturday. As always doors will open one hour before show time, no advance tickets and TICKETS WILL BE VERY LIMITED.

What we are asking of our customers

  • If you are sick, or there is a possibility you have been exposed to the coronavirus, please stay home.

  • Please practice social distancing by following our seating and lobby guidelines. While some may not agree this is necessary, we are doing this for everyone’s safety. Please do not sit in seats that are “blocked”.

  • Masks will be required. Masks may be removed once seated in the theatres; however, will need to be on any time not seated in the theatres. While we know that not everyone agrees with wearing masks, we are trying to do all we can to ensure everyone’s safety.

  • After the show, please throw away all trash in the cans at the back of each theatre, remember to social distance and do not congregate in the lobby.

  • Be patient with us! This is all new to us too – we are doing our best to bring the Vision II back to Chariton!
